Eligible plans offer up to $5 million in emergency medical benefits, with worldwide assistance available 24/7 and coordination with hospitals and clinics.
Choose a plan
Single-trip: coverage from departure to return, with maximum trip lengths of 183 to 212 days depending on your province. Available from age three months, subject to eligibility.
Annual multi-trip: unlimited trips during a 365-day policy period. Options include 8, 15 or 30 days per trip up to age 90, or 60 days up to age 85. Trips within Canada can have unlimited duration under the plan terms.
Family: one policy for at least one adult aged 59 or younger and dependent children aged three months to 21 years. Up to $5 million per insured person, available as single-trip or annual multi-trip coverage.
Visitors to Canada: emergency medical protection for tourists, visiting parents and grandparents, with bilingual assistance.
Benefits and optional protection
Emergency benefits may include hospitalization, medical care and diagnostics, paramedical services and emergency repatriation.
Optional cancellation and interruption coverage offers up to $25,000 per person; baggage and personal effects up to $1,500; and accidental death and dismemberment up to $100,000. A cancel-for-any-reason option may be available, subject to its own terms.
A combined-coverage discount may apply when medical and cancellation–interruption coverage are purchased together for the same trip. Cancellation coverage is not automatically included.
